NEWINGTON SKI CLUB MINUTES
February 16, 2017
Soup Stew and Chili Night Tonight: Steve B. from Skiers Unlimited spoke, was appreciative of our club’s support over the years. Our club collected $822 tonight for the organization. Members were very generous as all the donations came from the members. Lots of great food and friendship tonight.
Secretary’s Report: Last meetings minutes were on the table for all to view. They are also posted on line.
Monday Night Racing: We are behind Mountain Laurel Ski Club, but close in 2nd place . Need to get as many racers out as possible next week which is our last week.
Club Race Day Cancelled: Magic Mountain cancelled on us last minute! Glenn will try to find a reschedule place/date.
On Snow: March 2-4, 2017 at Loon Mountain, NH. Ron Kapraszewski will send out packets to those going.
Sugarloaf Ski Trip : March 12, 2017-March 17, 2017, John Hunter reported Sugarloaf had 61″ of snow last week. See John if you would like to go and if can fill a Condo 4-6 people.
Bulk Tickets: Ted Rogala has 4 Okemo tickets to sell.
Spring Banquet:: April 28, 2017, 6:30-7:00pm Friday-Spring Banquet will be at Dakota’s Steakhouse, Rocky Hill.$30.00 members, $35 non-members. No need to pre-order, there will be 4 meal choices. Carol Sweeney passed out flyers. Send Carol checks made out to NSC.

March 2, 2017 meeting is cancelled.
March 16th, April 6th, April 20th next meetings at The Polish American Club.
Next Social Meeting: February 23rd at Bertucci’s in Newington.
