NEWINGTON SKI CLUB MINUTES
September 19, 2019
Indian Hill Country Club
Meeting was called to order by President Ted Rogala at 7:36 pm.
Ted announced the Officers and Board of Directors.

Membership: Marilyn Pearson reported forms are available online to submit by mail with your check. You must be a NSC member to pick up your Bulk Tickets.
Bulk Tickets: Bulk ticket orders are due October 1, 2019. Okemo is not in the Bulk Ticket program this year, but if you have a credit you will get a refund. Mt Snow Bulk tickets are bought online before you get to the mountain at $69.00. Our user name is MSCSC123 and the password is mountsnow.
Open House Meeting: Indian Hill Country Club on November 7, 2019. Bar will be open and bring a dessert to share.
Snow Ball: November 16, 2019, Hartford Marriott. See Ambassador Mike Brown for tickets. $25 in advance, $30 at the door. We are sharing the Hospitality Suite with CAST Ski club. Please help Mike get raffle prizes. Mike would like his contact info on the website for the Snow Ball.
Joe Machowski is organizing a decoration night on Nov 14th in the evening. He will need volunteers to help put together the decorations and to help with the set up before the Snowball.
On Snow: February 28-March 1 at Waterville Valley New Hampshire.
Holiday Party:1/16/20, Place TBD
Monday Night Racing: December 16th- Pizza night and pre-registration at Mt. Southington. 8 Weeks plus 1 alternate this year.
Soup, Stew and Chili Night: February 20, 2010, to benefit Skiers Unlimited. Last year we raised $1500.
Senior Games: February 11, 2020
Club Day: 2/8/20 at Catamount with Danbury Ski Club. See Glenn Johnson.
The club needs volunteers throughout the year.
Lorraine Hughes has a Bike and kayak holder, if interested she would appreciate a donation for the Lily Hill Race fund.
John Paturel thanked the club for all the well wishes during his surgery recovery.
50/50 raffle- Marilyn Pearson won $13.
