NEWINGTON SKI CLUB MINUTES
March 7, 2019
Indian Hill Country Club
Meeting called to order by President, Ted Rogala at 7:30 pm.
Treasurer’s Report was given by Carol and accepted.
Secretary’s Report was submitted by Andrea and accepted.
Membership: Jack reported we have 364 members.
Soup, Stew & Chili night was held on February 7, 2019. Marilyn received a thank you note from Connecticut Children’s Medical Center for the $1035 donation made by NSC.
On-Snow: March 1-3, 2019 at Mount Snow. NSC came in second.
Monday Night racing: NSC came in second. A good time was held by all.
Sugarloaf Trip: Dates are March 10 -19, 2019. John reported one cancellation. If you are interested in filling this spot please contact John Hunter. Rick, NSC new member is heading to Sugarloaf with us !!
Ski Tickets: John has a couple of Okemo ski tickets for sale.
New Business – Tuckerman’s date is set for April 6, 7 & 8. Everyone is on there own for whatever activity they choose to do. And for making your own accommodations. Mt. Laural is sponsoring a lodge fundraiser at Zandri’s Stillwood Inn in Wallingford on Sunday, April 7th from 6-8:30 pm. It’s a Franki Valli and Four Seasons tribute band. Tickets are $50 pp or $450 for a table of 10. Contact Scott Farrar at Mt. Laural for further details.
Tonight’s 50/50 Raffle Winner: Mike was our raffle winner for tonight with a pot of $9! Jack won the goodie bag.
